Finally Raining In Yerevan

This morning I was awakened by the patter of a rain shower, the second one in a week. It hadn’t been raining for the entire summer, which was brutally hot. A Victory for Forest Protection in Armenia

I just read an article on RFE/RL reporting that the main financier of the proposed environmentally devastating mining project in Armenia’s Teghut Forest has put a hold in transferring funds.
