The police released Ani Gevorgian along with her brother Sarkis on Thursday afternoon on the grounds that they don’t leave Yerevan until a “final decision on the case” has been made. Apparently they are still potentially looking at jail time–up to five years.

I just read a report on RFE/RL that twelve protesters and three journalists were arrested in Liberty Square, which is where the Opera House is situated. The square only reopened a week ago after the area was dug up to build a parking garage, the construction of which took nearly two years.
